Summer "rock" concerts?!
Ok, I got my new Rolling Stone a few days ago and finally got around to opening it today. On the cover are a bunch of people (such as Fred Durst...God, just kill me) and it says something like "biggest rock tours of the summer." Then when you get to that article, it lists tours like 50 Cent. Last time I checked, he was a #%^&ing RAPPER, not a ROCK MUSICIAN. Not that there's anything wrong with rap but when did the term "rock" become so all-inclusive?! That's kind of like last fall when the cover said "Women in Rock" and there were Shakira and Britney. This is my last RS issue and I'm totally not renewing. I am thinking of writing them a letter though. An issue of the "summer's biggest rock tours" should at least include one damn sentence about the KISS/Aerosmith show. I'm disgusted.

Oh...while we're on the topic, what shows is everyone seeing this summer? I'm making plans for the Poison tour and KISS/Aerosmith, but neither are 100% definite yet.

Re: Summer "rock" concerts?!
Woo hoo, Def Leppard is coming here July 30! I'm so there. And Disturbed is coming here July 29 (can you feel my excitement). I won't be at that one. I can only handle "my-daddy-beat-me" music in small increments.
